Ever since Elliot began his film career, he’s hoped to make a film about his love for music; a film about what it truly means to dedicate yourself to something you care so deeply about. He was introduced to the Maine Mayhem film festival in his first year at SMCC and has been inspired since. Mayhem provided him with that chance to create FRET.
FRET is one of eight 15-minute shorts affiliated with the Maine Mayhem film festival. The film is a love letter to all creatives, highlighting the ups and downs of artistic devotion and exploring the cost of giving everything to your art, even when it means losing yourself in the process.
